Pre-K to 2nd Grade Celebrate the 100th Day of School
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This letter is to inform you that we are enthusiastically approaching the 100th day of school! The primary teachers have planned several celebratory activities for this special day along with a 100th Day of School Parade!
Our 100th day of school is Thursday, February 8, 2024!
As a part of the 100th day of school celebration, we want students to decorate a poster board with 100 items. You can use items such as macaroni, pennies, paper clips, Q-tips, cotton balls, popcorn, candy, etc. Students can also draw 100 things on their poster board. Your child’s poster board will be featured in our 100th day parade! This poster assignment is due Thursday, February 8, 2024!
We are assigning an additional home project for you to do with your child. The assignment is to select to do at least one of the following:
Dress as if you’re 100 years old!
Wear 100 items on your clothing!
Create 100th day of school "jewelry" by adding 100 Cheerios or 100 Fruit Loops to a piece of string/yarn to make a necklace!
Be creative and have a wonderful counting to 100!
