Thank You Used Book Fair Chairs!
We had another successful Used Book Fair! Thank you to our chairs for their hard work and thank you to our amazing community for donating so many books!
Volunteers are still needed- please sign up today!
We specifically need volunteers for the inflatables and food stand. If we don't have volunteers for the inflatables or games during any time slots, we will not be able to provide the activity. Please consider volunteering so we can make this another fantastic carnival for the kids.
If you've already signed up to volunteer, THANK YOU! We cannot pull this off without YOU!
Volunteers, please check in at the "Welcome/Greeter" table so we know you've arrived for your assigned station.
The Briarwood carnival is FREE for ALL! Thanks to our generous community!
Don't stress over school supplies- order now!

SAVE THE DATE!
As this school year comes to a close, we are already looking ahead to one of our biggest fundraising events, the Briarwood Auction!
Mark your calendars for Saturday, March 2, 2024 and join us for a Night at the Masquerade as we hold our biennial auction to benefit Briarwood! The auction supports a variety of important academic and cultural programming in our school. Our goals for the 2024 auction are to:
- Provide our children with a full-time innovation specialist to support the building blocks of education in both reading and math for all grade levels
- Support student access to enriching education content via teacher-requested subscriptions
- Other key educational needs as they arise
The auction is a perfect opportunity to get to know others in the Briarwood community and show your support for our kids. Stay tuned for more information on how to get involved and support the Briarwood Auction and visit our website at briarwoodauction.com!
JOIN THE 2024 AUCTION COMMITTEE!
We are looking for the next auction leadership team and volunteers to make the March 2024 Briarwood Auction a huge success! The auction is Briarwood's largest fundraiser and funds most of our PTA budget for two years. Do you have a special talent or skill? Are you looking for a way to get involved and give back? We'd love to talk with you and answer any questions you may have. Please reach out to Katie Enger (katieenger@hotmail.com , (913-972-7091) and Clarissa McMillan (mcmillan.clarissa@gmail.com).
Thank you for helping make our 2024 auction a great success!
Summer Watering and Weeding from May 22 - September 29
Our landscape committee has made so many improvements to beautify our school, but we need your help to keep it that way over the summer!
Please sign up to help water and weed each week, starting May 22 through September 29. You can either sign up for the beds in the front of the school, or the pollinator and raised beds in the back.
We've made improvements to our watering system, so it will be easier this year. We will send an email to all volunteers with more detailed instructions by the last day of school.
If you need to cancel your time slot, please be sure to call Katie Stramel 479-409-4400 to make other arrangements!
Sign-up here to help keep our school beautiful!
