GRADUATION: Friday, May 31 at 6:30 p.m. on Jason Franci Field

5:30 p.m. - Gates open. You will each receive 5 free tickets and they are available for pick-up in the Business Office on May 20. You may buy up to 6 more tickets at $8.00 each and pay with cash or credit at the business office, hours 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you wish to pay with credit card online, that option is also available on our website montgomeryhighschool.com. Tickets are not distributed on the first come/first serve basis, each of you is entitled to 11 tickets total (5 free and 6 paid). We will not run out. The Business Office phone number is 707-890-3830, extension 50176. All guests will need a ticket to attend the graduation ceremony. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Caps and Gowns have been ordered through Jostens (www.northcoastgrad.com 1-877-475-7027 or 569-7364) and must be worn at graduation. You may purchase and keep, or order the simple “cap-gown-tassel” unit for $30 and get this refunded. Gown return for reservation refunds will be in the Business office, Monday, June 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. only. If you need assistance for the cap/gown, see Jessica in the business office for help, or call her at 707 890-3830, ext. 50176.
Do not alter or adorn your caps. Decorative neckwear or decorative clothing cannot be worn at the ceremony. For example, you cannot wear a lei during the ceremony.
Wear nice clothing under your gown: dress shoes, dress slacks, button-type dress shirts, skirts, dresses encouraged. No sunglasses or spike heels (they sink in the artificial turf)
Graduation Practice: Thursday (May 30) and Friday (May 31) at 10:30 a.m. You need to attend practice. The practice will end at 12:00 p.m. each day.
Diploma pick-up: Pick up your diploma immediately following the ceremony. Bring a photo ID (on your phone is okay)
GRADUATION CREDITS:
GRADUATION CREDITS: Do you know where you stand with credits for graduation? You may not pick up your tickets until you have earned your 220 credits, check with your counselor if you have any concerns. Turn in your SRJC transcripts, PE Exemption form, and online classes, etc.
LOP – Loss of privilege:
LOP – Loss of privilege: Check to be sure you’re not on the LOP list. Check your Textbook/Library accounts to make sure that you have turned in all your books before graduation and do not have any lost or overdue books or fines before buying Prom/Grad tickets.
25 DAY RULE:
As of April, 25, 2019, please stay out of trouble. Students who get suspended cannot participate in extra-curricular activities for 25 school days, this includes graduation.

· 8:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at Mary Agatha Furth Center in Windsor. Formal photos will not be available, just a photo booth.
· 9:30 p.m. – doors close. You must arrive no later than 9:30 p.m.
· Dance clearance forms (for MHS students) and Guest Passes (for a guest) are due by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30.
· Wednesday, May 1 is the last day tickets will be sold. The prices for Prom tickets are as follows:
o Early bird (4/15-4/19): With ASB card, $65 for singles, $120 for a pair. Without an ASB card, $70 for singles and $130 for a pair.
o Regular prices (4/20-5/1): With ASB card, $70 for a single and $130 for a pair. Without an ASB card, $80 for a single and $150 for a pair. Tickets can be purchased in the Business Office or online at: MHS Webstore

SENIOR TRIP TO DISCOVERY KINGDOM (Vallejo): Friday, May 10- The buses leave MHS at 9:00 a.m. and return around 7:00 p.m. This trip is free to all seniors and is optional. A $25 donation would be greatly appreciated. You may sign up in Room 63, Ms. Reed. You cannot drive yourself, the only way to attend is to go on the bus. The deadline to sign up is May 5.
SENIOR SUNSET: Friday, May 24th
SENIOR BREAKFAST: Friday, May 31 at 8:00 a.m. at the Church of the Roses. All seniors are invited. The cost is $10 per student, please go to the Montgomery High School website, Monty Webstore, and scroll down to “Breakfast Class of 2019” and you can pay online. You can also write a $10 check payable to MEF.

· If you know you are receiving an award or recognition, please invite your parents to attend so we can honor you.
· Teachers will hand out department awards, and the school will honor students for their academic and extra-curricular activities. Many of the awards are actually surprises (like the Curly Grey Award). We will recognize the Press Democrat Youth Service Winners, the highest achieving award recipients (unweighted cumulative GPA 3.6 or higher), CSF Seal Bearers, and our IB Diploma candidates. We will also recognize student-reported scholarships and other recognition awards.
· If you are receiving individual scholarships or other recognition awards from colleges or other organizations you need to tell us so we can include that accomplishment in the program. To submit your information, go online at Class of 2019 Senior Awards in either a Chrome or Firefox browser and complete the form. If you require assistance in completing the form, please contact Rebecca Sullivan in the Attendance Office at 890-3830, ext. 50111.
GRAD NIGHT PARTY (Project grad): Friday, May 31
Your Grad Night Party begins right after graduation, 8:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. It will be in the gym, cafeteria and quad. This party is for all seniors, regardless of graduation status. This is a fantastic way to spend your graduation night with your friends at a party just for you.
· Tickets are $70 if purchased by May 24, and $80 May 25-31. A reduced price through financial scholarship is available. Scholarship forms and the required liability waiver form are in the main office or online at montgomeryprojectgrad.com. You can buy your tickets online, or you can place your completed forms with cash or check in the Project Grad red lock box in the main office.
· All seniors were mailed invitations. Payment and completed liability waiver form are required for entry to the party.
· You need to arrive no later than 10:00 p.m.
· Your Grad Night Party includes lots of amazing prizes, entertainment, food and drinks.
FINAL WEEK CALENDAR:
· Monday, May 27 – Memorial Day, no school!
· Tuesday, May 28 – All periods for all students
· Wednesday, May 29 – Finals in the morning (periods 4 and 5) School out at 12:12 p.m.
· Thursday, May 30 – Seniors morning final (period 6), grad practice at 10:30 a.m.
· Friday, May 31 – Senior breakfast 8:00 a.m., grad practice 10:30 a.m., graduation line-up at 5:30 p.m. in North gym. Project Grad 8:30 p.m., arrival no later than 10:00 p.m.
