Over 10 seasons, Jackie Robinson played in six National Champion Ships and made a big impact to the Brooklyn Dodgers in the 1955 National Championship. He was selected for six consecutive All-star game's, from 1949 to 1954, was the recipient of the Major League Baseball Player Award in 1947, and won the NMVP Award in 1949 he was the first black player so honored. Robinson was introduced into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1962. In 1997, Major League Baseball they retired his uniform number, 42, across the whole major league teams he was the first pro athlete in any sport to be honored. He was elected for the first time on April 15, 2004, Major League Baseball has adopted a new annual tradition, '' Jackie Robinson Day", on which every player on every team wears the number #42 on their jersey.

Robinson was also known for his act outside of baseball. He was the first black television person in MLB. In the 1960s, he helped establish the Freedom National Bank, an African-American-owned financial institution based in Harlem, New York. In recognition of his achievements on and off the field, Robinson was awarded the Presidential American Medal and the Cognitional Medal Award.He was an American baseball player who became the first African American to play in Major Leagues Baseball in the modern place. Robinson broke the baseball color line when the Brooklyn Dogers started him at first base on April 15, 1947. They also let no one were 42 in the whole Major League Baseball .
