Semester Grades
Final grades for first semester are now available for viewing on our PowerSchool Parent Portal.
Smart Phone users can download a "PowerSchool for Parents" app. Our school code is ZBSR; you will also need your Parent Portal log-in and password. The app is a neat tool available for your use and now is the perfect time to download it!
Attendance Goals
Attendance is important because students are more likely to succeed in academics when they attend school consistently. Learning is a progressive activity. In addition, an A+ applicant must have a 95% or better average attendance record for the four year period. A cumulative attendance record is kept from the beginning of your student's freshman year until graduation. A few reminders for parents:
- If your student feels sick during the school day, please encourage them to visit the nurse. Ms. Kelly keeps efficient records and determines the action needed to prevent the spread of illness in our school. She will notify you if your child needs to leave for the day.
- If your student receives an immunization during a doctor's visit, please ask for documentation and give it to the nurse immediately so records can be updated.
- If your student is absent due to a medical appointment, please bring a letter from the provider documenting the appointment.
- Please notify the office before 9:00 a.m. when a student is going to be late, absent, or released early.
We believe our parents make it easier for students to attend school by having a positive attitude about learning and education. We appreciate those who do their best to make appointments outside the school day. Your support is what makes our school one of excellence!
