Continuous Virtual Learning -Week of May 18th-22nd
Message from Principal De La Rosa
We are missing our parents and our students every day. Please know that you all are on our minds and our hearts. Continue to be safe and know that we are here for you!
Homeroom Lesson week of May 18th-22nd
Hello Parents,
Last week, students had the opportunity to participate in virtual tours of colleges around the U.S. This week, they will begin thinking about degrees that interest them and how they will benefit their future career goals. Talk to your kids about their educational goals and have them walk you through their thought process. Remember, it is never too early to begin planning for college.

Learning at Home packet
If your student doesn't have a working chrome book they can complete the packets.
Turning in Austin ISD Student Computers/ Withdrawing Students
- Please tell students who are withdrawing that they must drop off their Austin ISD devices at one of the four AISD Computer Curbside locations (bit.ly/aisdcomputercurbside). Add this step to your existing withdrawal procedures, and ensure that your staff who handle withdrawals are aware of this process.
- For seniors: Campuses that have plans for collecting items from seniors can include Chromebooks in that collection. Please store collected Chromebooks with the rest of your Everyone:1 devices (usually in the library). Seniors may also bring Chromebooks to one of the four AISD Computer Curbside locations, and receipt will be logged in TipWeb.
- For fifth, sixth, or eighth graders advancing to middle or high school: Students in these grades will keep their devices. VILS eighth graders should also keep their WiFi-enabled Chromebooks. We will make plans to collect and reallocate VILS Chromebooks in the fall.
