Sean's ELA Identity
I asked Sean about his experiences with reading and writing. Here's the result.
A: My favorite books as a child were mainly the Dr. Seuss books, mostly since they were interesting and easily accessible.
Q: Do you prefer reading on paper, or ebooks/Kindle/iPad? Why?
A: I prefer reading on paper because you can always read it despite distracting glare or beams of light.
Q: What is your favorite genre or topic to read about? Why?
A: I love reading action novels and non-fiction books about sports because these topics really interest me.
Q: Explain a writing piece from any time in your life that you are especially proud of.
A: I was proud of the essay I had to write for the book Flipped last year. I put a lot of effort into it and I was confident that I'd get a good grade.
Q: If you could choose anything to write about, what would it be?
A: I would write a biography about an athlete, if I had to choose.
Q: What's the most important advice you would give to another writer?
A: I'd say to write whatever is the most interesting to you.
And, for conclusion, here's a bonus question.
A: I'd definitely choose Derek Jeter, since he's very inspiring to me.
Thanks to Sean for answering the questions.
