From Mrs. Hay in the Library

Hi Governor Winslow School Families,

This week your students took home their last library book checkouts for this school year. Starting next week I will be collecting all library books and getting the library ready for end of year inventory. I would love to have all library books back into our library by Wednesday, June 15. Thank you for your assistance with this!

PTO News

Field Day Volunteers Needed

Field Day is returning to Governor Winslow on Thursday June 16th (rain date Tuesday June 21st). This is a chance to come to the school, see your child having fun at field day, and help make the day run smoother. Please note that this event is volunteer only as we need help running the stations. What that means is that if you would like to attend, you need to volunteer! Please click here to sign up.

PTO Secretary Needed

The position of secretary for the upcoming school year still needs to be filled. If interested, please send an email to gwspto@gmail.com

The duties of the secretary are as follows:

  • Take notes at the PTO meetings
  • Check the GWS email account and forward/respond to the emails as appropriate
  • Write up any information that needs to be included in the weekly GWS newsletter
  • Help out monitoring the Gov. Winslow School Forum Facebook account.

We could really use you help. Please consider donating your time for this one- or two-year commitment.
