Biblionasium for 3rd, 4th, and 5th
Rotation #6: Do you want a fun way to engage and encourage your students to read? Are you struggling with finding a way to have kids track what they are reading? Check out BIBLIONASIUM! Described as a Goodreads for Kids, Biblionasium is an added component of our Destiny catalog system that allows for students to track books they have read, what they want to read, and more! By the end of this week, all 3rd-5th graders will have been introduced to Biblionasium, and will have started to build their own personal bookshelves.
Watch this video to see an overview of all Biblionasium offers!

Teachers and classes have already been set up! You can add books to a classroom "shelf", assign challenges, and make recommendations. Check it out and let me know if you can't get logged in, see that students are missing, or have any questions. I'd love to show you all about it!
Bagdad's Monstore!
Kinder, 1st, and 2nd grade: Students will review the parts of a book and the parts of a Fiction Story along with our new Monster Mash books! Then, they will create their own monsters to take home.
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade: Students will explore Destiny Discover and learn how to search for books on the library catalog. Then they can practice using Destiny Discover to add books onto their Biblionasium bookshelves.
