WHAT A GREAT FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL!
WELCOME BACK, BENGALS!!!
It's TIME TO SHINE!
Welcome back, Bengals! We are so excited about the 2021-2022 school year and all our Bengals being back in the building! We know it's been tough for our students, families, and staff the last two school years, but we will do everything we can to ensure everyone's safety and your child's academic success! We will need a commitment from you to help us keep this promise!
As our district monitors the latest updates from the Center of Disease Control (CDC) and local and state authorities, we ask for everyone's patience and cooperation. Starting Monday, August 16th, all students, staff members, and anyone visiting booker or any Spring ISD campus or facility, will be required to wear a mask. With COVID variants and illnesses rises across our zip code, we are encouraging all of our students, staff, parents, and visitors to follow all safety measures to ensure our students and staff remain on campus and remain safe and healthy!
In addition to the new mask mandate policy, you are more than welcome to send your child to school with additional masks, hand sanitizer, and/or any types of wipes that you feel they may need to clean his/her surface areas. However, our operations team led by Mrs. Jones, will continue to follow all safety and cleaning protocols, daily.
Working together will be instrumental in having a successful year! Let's make this year the best year yet! We look forward to serving you!
Sincerely,
Keisha Womack
Principal

SPRING ISD GENERAL INFORMATION
NEW UPDATES FOR ALL BUS RIDERS!
Download the Free MyView App To Track Your Child's Bus
Spring ISD is introducing a new scanner system on all of its buses for the 2021-22 school year that will give added peace of mind to parents by allowing them to know when and where their student gets on and off the bus.
Students carry a small card that automatically logs their entry or exit when they pass the scanner on the school bus. The information is then instantly and securely available to parents. Notifications can also be sent directly to their computer or cell phone via text message.
By downloading the free MyView app, parents will have an easy-to-use mobile app to check on their child's school bus. MyView uses GPS data provided by the Zonar V4 telematics control unit to track and display that bus's location on an aerial map, powered by Google—all in near real-time. Parents can create and set alerts to let them know when the bus enters their neighborhood or gets close to the drop-off point, which is especially helpful on bad weather days.
In addition, these cards will have a dual purpose to allow students to scan at the Point of Sale in the cafeteria lines, adding convenience and efficiency for both parents and child nutrition workers.
Instructions
Set up Zonar MyView:
Download the Zonar MyView app from the App Store or Google Play.
Enter the School Access Code 77090.
