Happy New Year!

Hello Brooker Creek Families,

Welcome Back and Happy New Year! It has been a great week back at school. We certainly hit the ground running on Monday and haven't stopped since. Thank you to everyone that communicated a change in Learning Option for 2nd semester over the break. We are working on making those changes and you will be contacted next week regarding the change. All changes will take place on Wednesday, January 20, 2021. For the remainder of the school year, if you would like to make a change in your child's learning option to MyPCS or to Traditional, please email me directly.

Due to the delayed start of school this year, our calendar shifted a little. Please note the dates below. These dates were communicated before the break but it was a busy time so I wanted to include them again.

January 15th- End of 1st semester.

January 18th- No school, MLK Day.

January 19th- No school for students.

January 20th- 2nd semester begins.

Ready, Set Kindergarten

On Thursday, January 14th we will be hosting a virtual Ready, Set Kindergarten meeting for our incoming 2021-2022 Kindergarten families. We will present some information about registration and answer questions during this session. We ask you to take a peek into the Kindergarten day by going to and enter student code: 32VYS. Also, make sure to visit the district website to obtain all the information needed regarding registration, as well as, how to prepare your child. After reviewing all of the information, if you have any questions, please use the link below. That way, we can be sure to address your question on Thursday night. If you can't join us on Thursday at 5:30, please call us at school with any questions.

Cafe Updates

We are continuing to ask our BCE families to preorder meals when possible. This week only, we are asking that you consider ordering for the next two weeks due to our holiday break.

When parents spend a few minutes pre-ordering their child’s lunch, it allows our cafe team to plan ahead. These forms allow us to break the meals out by the teacher and have them ready when the students come into the lunchroom and reduce the amount of time they have to spend in line. Pre-ordered meals also help us to reduce waste by only making food that is needed based on the orders.
