techgirlz--Make and Do---------------July 6-10 2015, 9 am to 3:30 pm
Designed for girls ages 10 to 13, this camp emphasis is learning-through-doing (constructivism) in a social environment. Makers produce, construct, create or build soming new. Doers use the product of makers. They work, play, complete activities or tasks. In this camp we will use a number of current technologies including knex, littlebits, robots and 3D printers. techgirlz--You Can Code------------July 20-24 2015, 9 am to 3:30 pm
Designed for girls ages 10-13, this camp explores the drop and drag languages used to interface with the memory of the computer. By giving instructions to your computer or “coding” you will be able to see graphic results immediately. Tinker with puzzles, mazes and games of various types to explore sequential events, selection and repetition. Become the programmer you always wanted to be.
