March Has Arrived
This by far is the hardest time of the year on educators as we go long periods without breaks, the weather is up and down, and we get to spend a lot of time on ISTEP testing. The good news is we are starting to turn the corner on the weather and round 1 of ISTEP testing is behind us. I am very happy with the atmosphere we created this week for testing and because of that I am very optimistic on the performance of our students.
As we move forward and get closer to spring break I want to make sure you pay attention to the dates below. The biggest one to remember is this grading period ends next Friday (March 9) and your grades will be due on Wednesday, March 14 by 10 a.m. With this we will be 75% of the way through another school year!
In closing, I want to thank all of you for stepping up to the plate to lead and have great discussions with your Harbor groups. Next Tuesday we will no doubt experience a lot of emotion and your Harbor students will need you to lean on following our moment of silence.
Keep up the great work!
