Principal's Update
Non-Traditional Instruction Week of 4/27/2020
Dear Families,
By now, we should all be settled in to our new routine, but we miss the daily in-person interactions with our students.
Please make sure your students are checking in with their teachers through their Google Classrooms and making progress on their assignments whether online or on paper. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
At this time, Superintendent Caulk has asked for buildings to be closed. However, if you or your student have a need, please contact us by email. We will make arrangements to support you. In the coming weeks, we will communicate our plan for students to return Chromebooks, clean out lockers, and pick up personal items. Be assured that we will adhere to social distancing guidelines when we do this.
Take a look at this week's video for more information.
Sincerely,
Mr. Jones, Mrs. Piatt, and Mr. Taylor

NTI Days Extended through the End of the Year
Since our last newsletter, Governor Beshear has asked superintendents to continue NTI through the end of the school year. The FCPS School Board will be meeting Monday night to amend the school calendar. It looks like the last day of school for students will be May 27. Students should continue working on their NTI lessons and checking in to each of their teacher's Google Classrooms. Teachers will be available from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday to provide assistance. Students can always email their teacher and teachers will be available during the week through Zoom or Google Meet if students need face to face support.
