Preprimary Conversation Starters
Week of May 16, 2017
Butterflies & Birds
Ms. Kapsch, Concord Hill's wonderful Science teacher, taught Preprimary how to cup their hands to practice a safe way to release our Painted Lady butterflies. We went to the garden and each child was thrilled to carefully hold one before it quickly flew away. Thanks to Ms. Kapsch for arranging and managing this fascinating caterpillar to butterfly project!
Magnatile Team
Working together our team of "construction workers" built an impressive tower with complete with colorful triangles on the roof!
Binoculars
To go along with our sturdy of birds, Preprimary designed and created their own binoculars. It will be exciting to use them to observe birds on the playground and in the neighborhood.
Self Portraits
After carefully examining their own faces in a mirror, this week each child drew their own self portraits. They then placed the drawings in their own Invention Center folders.
