Who is Tammy Parish
Tammy is a wonderful and kind hearted person who has so far lived an amazing life. She is always in a great mood as I know from experience. Tammy is my aunt and from my personal experiences the most kind a fun person you will ever meet. Her and my uncle used to be the head clowns in the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus where she all around made people happy.
How did she sruggle?
Tammy Parish in 2005 was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was devastated at the news but ready to move on. She immediately went to the nurses to see what she could do for treatment because she was ready to move on. Was willing to do anything to survive. Tammy had two lumpectomies and two different tumors. She god both removed but had to go through eight weeks of radiation, which burned her up pretty bad. For five more years she had to come back up to the hospital and check in on top of having to take penoxifin.
How did she get through those bad times?
Thankfully for Tammy she had an amazing family to surround herself with and awesome friends who constantly showed her support. She would read a lot of books and scripture from the bible to keep her occupied. She also had a great church family.
Are you cancer free today?
"Yes, cancer free and happy. I have been well for a few years now and I honestly forget about it."
What did you get out of that expeirience?
Tammy states "I realized how much I am really loved and who all is really there for me." "From this experience I gained the desire to always want to help those with cancer, especially with breast cancer as if they were family" Tammy says. To this day Tammy still feels lucky and blessed to be alive.
