Staff Spotlight: Ms. Amy Moeller (Academic Coach for Class of 2022)

Amy Moeller, class of 2022 academic coach and WCHS alum, brightens the day of each person she meets. Amy spreads joy through her weekly Moellervation videos and the Sunshine Committee, providing endless encouragement and support to both students and staff.

We are so thankful for her diligence and commitment to the class of 2022, particularly during testing the last few weeks. Amy truly embodies what it means to be a Warrior! She is incredibile and we are lucky to have her on our team.

GOOd luck to our Boys Basketball Tonight!

The Warren Central Boys Basketball team will travel to Tech High School for the Sectional Semi-Finals Friday night. The Warriors play Lawrence North at 7:30pm.

Tutoring - Monday and Thursday; 2:30pm-4:30pm

Tutoring has changed to Mondays and Thursdays from 2:30-4:30. Food will be provided by Chartwells and transportation will be provided home. See the flyer for more information.

Senior Orders from Herff Jones

If you have ordered senior items from Herff Jones, please watch for an email from Mrs. Waggoner in the Bookstore informing you when your order has arrived and is ready for pick up. Caps and gowns will not be included in these orders and will be delivered to all students at a later date.

Cap and Gown Order Form

CLICK HERE to complete the cap and gown order form so the correct size is ordered. Please note that this form must be completed under the student's email. No outside Warren email will be accepted to fill out the order form.

Summer School Information

2021 Summer School In-Person Model

This year Warren Central High School’s in-person summer school program will focus on a credit recovery model based on student’s credit needs. We are currently planning for an in-person instructional model where students will attend in-person each day from June 7, 2021-June 30, 2021. Courses will be offered at no cost to current Warren Central High School students. Transportation will be available before and after school for students who request transportation.

Summer school dates: June 7th-30th (18 school days)

Summer school schedule: (three class periods per day)

  • Period 1 --> 7:15-9:25
  • Period 2 --> 9:30-12:05
  • Period 3 --> 12:10-2:20

2021 Summer School Virtual Courses (Indiana Online Academy)

This year Warren Central High School will partner with Indiana Online Academy to provide students with additional course offerings. Current 10th and 11th-grade students who are planning to work ahead to earn credits in Government (grade 11), Economics (grade 11), U.S. History 1 and 2 (grade 10), or students who need to take PE and Health, will complete the coursework through Indiana Online Academy (IOA) with IOA instructors. These courses will be entirely virtual and will be conducted from June 7, 2021-July 18, 2021. Enrollment for these courses begins on April 5, 2021. Students who enroll in these courses will follow the timelines and guidance of the IOA program. Once a student successfully completes the course, the course will be added to the student’s transcript. These courses will be offered at no cost to current Warren Central High School students. More information can be found by visiting their website at Indiana Online Academy Summer School.

Food Distribution Information

  • 100% VIRTUAL families can pick up food on Tuesday from 8:00-9:30 a.m. or 4:00- 6:00 p.m. at Moorhead Community Resource Center located at 8400 East 10th Street.
  • All hybrid in-person students will have the opportunity to pick up meals while in-person to take home for the following school day. Please encourage your child to take advantage of this opportunity!

Tri-M Needs your help!

In celebration of "Music in our Schools Month," Warren Central's chapter of Tri-M Music Honor Society is hosting a TOILETRIES DRIVE during the month of March to benefit the Moorhead Community Resource Center. Please donate new toiletry products (shampoo, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.), any size, in the donation bins located by the WCHS Main Office, Academy Office, Career Center Office, Counseling Services Center Office, and Performing Arts Center. If you have any questions, please contact Tri-M Sponsor Jill Wynalda at jwynalda@warren.k12.in.us.

Tech Support

We are expanding our technology help desk hours at Moorhead Community Resource Center! Our new hours will be Monday-Friday from 7:30 - 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. K-4 VIRTUAL students with iPad issues should be brought here. Chromebooks can still be brought to any of the three Intermediate Middle Schools during school hours, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., Monday - Friday,, or the Chromedesk at the High School during 1st and 2nd period, Monday - Friday. If you cannot access the above times and locations for some reason, you can also submit a help ticket through IncidentIQ here.

P-EBT Cards (3rd Round)

The 3rd round of the Pandemic Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) will began to be mailed out to your home on February 28, 2021. It is essential that you keep your card, as additional P-EBT assistance will be loaded back onto this same card. Again, PLEASE KEEP THIS CARD.

If you should happen to move and need to complete a change of address form, please CLICK HERE. The assistance is only for students in grades K-12. Early Childhood and Adult Education does not qualify.
