WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FOOD?

My favorite foods are “Surf and Turf”- Lobster, Shrimp, and Prime Rib!!! So yummy!!! For Dessert- “Nothing Bundt” cake- Lemon.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY AND WHY?

I love Christmas! It’s always been magical as a child; and now as an adult its all about Love, Family and God. Holiday food, getting together with friends and family, and colored lights everywhere make me smile.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE BOOK, MOVIE, OR TV SHOW?

Books- Anything with DOGS….”Go Dogs Go”, “A Dogs Journey” and “Harry Potter Books”

Movies-Musical Classics: “Sound of Music”, “Mary Poppins”, “Cinderella-Musical play”, and also any movie that has Tom Hanks in it.

TV- Total “Survivor” fan-even applied for the show once. Outlander, Downton Abby, Heartland, Tiny Houses, Chicago Hope, Chicago Fire, and Chicago PD fill up my DVR recorder.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT OR THING TO DO ON SATURDAY?

Love going to the movies, (big tub of popcorn with butter and a diet coke), spending time with my Husband Jerry and girls Maggy and Kacey- (4 legged furry children)

During summer, I love to travel, have adventures and relax- have been to Hawaii, Alaska, some cruises, tropical islands and many states- I love nature- really enjoyed zip lining through a rainforest waterfall, seeing a glacier and taking tons of pictures. Some day I want to go on a European river cruise.

Other random facts:

27 years teaching here at Sidney Lanier, originally from Wisconsin, Norwegian & German decent, enjoy outlet mall shopping, doing acrylic scenery, flower and dog paintings, spending time visiting six step grandchildren in Colorado, & two in Connecticut and also following Drum and Bugle Corps (Blue Stars & Phantom Regiment-past colorguard member).

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE HOLIDAY AND WHY?

Christmas, because we celebrate with family and friends the birth of our Savior Jesus. And of course I love the food, colorful decorations, presents and parties.

DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE BOOK, MOVIE, OR TV SHOW?

My favorite book in the Bible, my favorite movie is The Notebook and my favorite TV Show is Once Upon a Time.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT OR THING TO DO ON SATURDAY?

I love the beach! That is my favorite place to spend the day, since I am a mermaid.

I love to spend time with my Lord Jesus, my family and friends.

Monday Show your College Spirit!

(Wear your favorite college shirt with uniform bottoms)

*Teachers will discuss the college they attended and why,

career major, extra –curricular, etc

Tuesday Hats Off to College

(Wear your favorite college hat or cap)

*Decorate the provided cap or t-shirt with your

favorite college logo and colors

*Teachers will read and discuss a career-related book

Wednesday Show your Pinkston Spirit( for 5th grade only)
