Below is additional information about the CMS Personalized Learning support coaching for teachers. If you are interested in participating in the 2018-19 PL cohort, please email Mr. Turner by Friday, October 5th.
I wanted to share our new and improved website: https://bit.ly/cms_pdl . Here you will be able to access numerous resources including our PDL PD catalog both face to face and virtual. Also, wanted to make sure you had easy access to the Digital Learning Competency information in Canvas for those teachers who are renewing their license in June.
Finally, here is my rendition of what is required of teachers from our coaching model:
· Be open and receptive to non-evaluative feedback around an area they choose
· Commit to a 10 minute classroom visit and a 10-15 minute debrief conversation to determine what next steps they choose and what support they would like once a month
· Be willing to take a risk and have a growth mindset☺
Hope this helps. Looking forward to the work ahead
