Firebrand ,Rose Opal and Purple Splendour
Callistemon 'Firebrand' is a semi-prostrate shrub growing to about 60 cm tall.It produces bottlebrush spikes of red flowers in spring and early summer.
Callistemon 'Rose Opal' is a compact dwarf form of the Weeping Bottlebrush, Callistemon viminalis. It produces clusters of red bottlebrush flowers in spring and autumn.
Callistemon 'Purple Splendour" is a dense bushy shrub with clusters of red purple bottlebrush flowers with yellow tipped stamens in spring. There are a number of similar cultivars including Callistemon "Violaceus", "Purple Cloud" and "Mauve Mist"
Burrowing Cocroach
The burrowing Cocroach goes underground to sleep in the day (nocturnal) then at night it goes out to feed on leaves that have fallen off trees from a rainforrest.Then it will eat the leaf then move to a different aeria in the rainforrest. Its the only Cocroach that can bite
(it uses its pinsers).
