Osceola School District Announces Schools To Be Closed On Tuesday, September 3, and Wednesday, September 4, for Hurricane Dorian
Due to anticipated deteriorating weather conditions from Hurricane Dorian and the need for some schools to continue serving as shelters, all Osceola district public schools will be closed on both Tuesday, September 3, and on Wednesday, September 4. Forecasters are anticipating sustained tropical force winds and possible substantial rainfall for Osceola County beginning tomorrow eveningand lasting into Wednesday. Superintendent Pace will continue to closely monitor the weather with Osceola County Emergency Management to make informed decisions regarding Thursday.
Parents are asked to continue monitoring the district’s website at www.osceolaschools.net and social media for the latest updates. Parents will be notified through call-out messages and Remind texts if urgent communications are needed.
