OUTDOOR CLASSROOM PROJECT RECEIVES WELLMARK MATCH GRANT
The Wellmark Foundation has notified 28 Iowa organizations, including Clear Creek Amana Community School District that they will receive Matching Assets to Community Health (MATCH) grants, contingent upon securing the required 50 percent match amount.
Each of these grantees are planning projects that can help individuals, families and communities achieve better health through built environment initiatives that encourage physical activity or access to and consumption of nutritious foods.
Clear Creek Amana Community School District, $13,583The Clear Creek Amana Middle School Outdoor Classroom is a project that aims to take an under-used space and transform it into a space that is welcoming to the community and allows curriculum to expand out of the classroom to engage students in a different way. Students will have enhanced hands-on curriculum related to food production, food consumption and physical education.
BOARD MEETING: TEACHING AND LEARNING BY CCE
CCE has received an award this year that will supply them with multiple STEM learning kits for each grade level, K-5. These activities are aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards.

HOMECOMING T-SHIRT ORDER DUE BY SEPTEMBER 21
Below is the 2020 Homecoming T-Shirt. Our student council has worked tirelessly over the last few weeks to bring some normalcy to our current situation. That being said, the turn around time is SHORT. All orders are DUE Monday, September 21st. You can order online through the ELITE under the link provided below.

Reminder that you must have a ticket to enter the games and you MUST sit in your ticket group of 4 while social distancing from other groups. With your help our athletes can continue to play and have a safe fall sports season.
