Day of service...
Our amazing students participated in our annual Bulldog Day of service this week. While Covid has been a barrier to many activities this year, Day of Service wasn't one of them! Our third grade students created scented rice socks and 4th grade made hand tied blankets for our nearby Assisted Living facilities. Our 5th grade worked on painting inspirational rocks to add to our landscaping. These inspirational painted rocks leave their positive messages for future RJ Richey students. We are proud of our students for their commitment to serving others.

School Board Recognition Month!
January 2021 is School Board Recognition Month. Please join us in showing appreciation for their dedication and hard work. They are extraordinary people who voluntarily tackle the enormous job of governing our school district. Their actions and decisions affect the present and future lives of our children. They play a crucial role in CRAFTING the Future in Burnet CISD.
A book your child might like...Act Normal and Don't tell anyone there's a Dinosaur in the garden. by Christian Darkin
Every adventurous child deserves to be introduced to Jenny and Adam - two clever kids who have the weirdest adventures. Jenny’s latest experiment has accidentally turned her chickens into tiny dinosaurs. Her brother, Adam thinks this is great, and decides to feed the same experiment to some ostriches at a local farm…
Jenny is used to strange things happening in her life, and thinks the best move is to just ACT NORMAL, but can they escape from the giant ostrich-dinosaurs and get everything fixed before the adults start to notice?
