PBIS at SES
We have had a great start to our PBIS program this school year! Our PBIS team is very thankful for the continued support and to our amazing volunteers for making our school community a positive place for students! We have a few fun events coming up in the near future!
- Friday, September 15th –
- Flock Friday! Students are encouraged to wear their flock color!
- Splash Cash Cart – this is an opportunity for students to turn in their Splash Cash for a variety of different experiences with staff (office helper, lunch with a staff member, etc.) or tangible items from our cart.
- We heavily rely on volunteers to help make this a success! If you are able to volunteer to manage our cart, please sign up here - https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0F48ACAF2CAAF85-splash
- We will have our tie-dye flock parties the week of September 18th! Students will gather with their entire flock and help each other tie-dye a shirt.
- Days:
- Monday, Sept. 18th – Yellow Flock
- Tuesday, Sept. 19th – Red Flock
- Wednesday, Sept. 20th – Purple Flock
- Thursday, Sept. 21st – Green Flock
- Friday, Sept. 22nd – Orange Flock
- All students should bring in a white t-shirt to tie-dye! They can wear these shirts throughout the year on Flock Fridays!
- If you are unable to supply a white t-shirt, please contact your student’s teacher or school counselor.
- We would love to have adult volunteers help with tie-dying! If you are able to help, please sign up here - https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0F48ACAF2CAAF85-flock

EVERYONE must reapply for being a volunteer. The system was cleaned out and you must reapply. Remember, if you want to be a chaperone or work events, you must be approved. If you are an employee of CCPS, you still need to complete the volunteer process for participation in events at school.
Even if you are not sure if you will be able to attend anything, please sign up early. Here’s the CCPS link of info:

To expand students’ knowledge of careers and opportunities we would like to highlight the careers of our Sunderland parents and guardians. Please complete the form for the possibility to be featured on our career bulletin board and a feature on the Seahawk News Show. All careers are important and valuable. Please consider sharing with our students so they can begin to know what is available for them. https://forms.office.com/r/KgpmBjWS3V
Pre K-2nd Grade: For student safety, drivers will keep all students in grades Pre-Kindergarten – Second on the bus until a parent/guardian/or family member comes to the bus door to receive the student from the bus. This will help the driver become familiar with who should be getting the students as well as making sure that all the students are getting off the bus with a responsible party.
Please mark your calendar: SES Fall Picture Day will take place on Monday, September 25th!
