Dress for the Weather
It is also very helpful to write your child's first and last name in their coat. This way, if your child misplaces their coat, we are able to help the coat make it back to the correct classroom.
Sponsor a Queso Day
Would you like to sponsor a Queso Day for the Stone Creek Staff? Once a month we'd like to honor our teachers and staff with a surprise snack of chips and queso. The total cost is $50.00 per month. If you would like to sponsor a month, or co-sponsor a month, please sign up on the google form below. Jennifer Sonnhalter will contact you with more information. A sign will be hung with your name on the date you sponsor. Thank you for your generosity! Please let your student(s) know if they take a note to their teacher stating that they are thankful for them, they will receive a house point! Letters (or pictures) turned in by Thursday, November 3 will qualify. Please ask your child not to share this information.
We are Here for You
We are here for you! If you have a concern or a question, please do not come to the office without an appointment. We spend as much time as possible supporting our students and staff and most likely will not be available. Instead, please call the office and make an appointment with one of the secretaries. Feel free to share details with them to pass on to us. This will allow us time to investigate if needed. Your concerns are important to us and we will address all concerns ASAP. We appreciate your incredible teamwork. Your partnership with us is the key that helps us unlock the learning potential in our students. They are learning and growing, and we are grateful.

What is the Raptor System?
Raptor will screen the information against sex offender databases and locally customized lists of banned or potentially threatening individuals, instantly alert school officials to a threatening presence, and maintain a searchable log of all visitors.
Once approved, you will get a customized visitor badge to wear while in the building.
What do you need to be screened by the Raptor System?
When you arrive in a WSD building as a visitor, you will be asked to scan your ID and complete the management system’s check-in process.
When do you need to have a raptor sticker?
Anytime you leave the front office
Lunch visitors, volunteers, and anytime you leave the front office
What do I need to do when I leave the building?
Return to the office and leave your visitor sticker.
Office staff will then sign you out of the building.
If I have come to sign my student in/out of the building, does that mean I’m in the Raptor System?
No. It means you may be listed in the SISK12 system as someone who can sign a student in/out with an ID.
What if I want to use the pre-order feature but I haven’t scanned into the Raptor System before?
You can stop by the Stone Creek Office to be pre-scanned.
You need to bring your ID.
We kindly ask that you don’t do this during arrival and dismissal times.

SCE Parents, Will You Find the Hidden Dragon Egg?
Parents Can Earn House Points!
Congratulations to the 27 families who spotted the hidden dragon egg in last month's newsletter! It is pictured in the photo. You earned a house point for your students! Each month a clue will be hidden in the newsletter (like an easter egg) that will tell you how to earn a house point. Read carefully. There is a hidden dragon egg in every issue. Even this one. Every point matters!
Veterans Day
Stone Creek Veterans Day Parade
We ask that all students and staff to dress in red, white, and blue on that Friday, Nov. 11. Our classes will be working on preparing for the parade. The sacrifice of these men and women needs to be honored by all of us. We look forward to honoring all Veterans that morning.
