NGC Update Quarter 2

October 21, 2022

Welcome to Quarter 2

NGC Families and Students,

Welcome back for Quarter 2! I hope everyone had a relaxing fall break! We are excited about moving into quarter 2 as many students become more independent and accountable for their work completion and their actions. The 2nd quarter ends in January, so make sure students are staying on track for their assignments as the weeks roll by this time of year. The class of 2026 is filled with students who are respectful and responsible and we are enjoying watching them grow and mature throughout the year.

You should have received your students 1st Quarter report card today via e-mail. Please let us know if you have any questions.

VETERANS DAY SPEAKERS

Milford High School would be honored to have veterans come in to speak with students in recognition of Veterans Day on Monday, November 14, 2022. We chose this day so that you can attend events in our school district. If you are a veteran or know a veteran who would like to attend, please fill out the attached form.

Athletic News

MHS has had a very successful fall athletic season. Girls Soccer, Boys Soccer, Volleyball, Boys Cross Country, and Football are all alive in the their respective OHSAA tournaments. Information about athletics call be found at https://www.milfordathletics.org/

Football will play at home on Friday. Milford passes will not be accepted as it is an OHSAA tournament game. We are also in the process of updating our guidelines for student spectators at athletic contests. More information is coming from Dr. Arnold this week. One of the biggest things is that students will be expected to be in the bleachers. We are also limiting their ability to congregrate in parts of the Eagle Stadium.
