Back To School Night Was A Success

The Slackwood Back To School Night is a night where you get to meet your children's teachers, see where they spend their days and get an understanding of what your children are doing all day. On Thursday, many of you came and got the first look at your child's new teacher(s) and new classroom. I hope you got the information you needed. Remember, we are always here to help you, if you have questions.

The NED Show

On Wednesday, Slackwood students were treated to a visit from NED and his friend Hayley. NED spreads the powerful message of Never Give Up, Encourage Others, Do Your Best through magic and Yo Yo tricks. The students were enthralled as Hayley tells the story of how NED arrived at Slackwood and why these character traits are important. This interactive performance was free for Slackwood students.... All we had to do was try to sell Yo Yo's. There are still Yo Yo's left in Mr. Billy's office. Send in your order form now!
