When will you be able to see your schedule for 2nd semester?
Schedules for the second semester of the 2022/23 school year will be viewable to students on the StudentVue App and in the Student Portal on Wednesday, January 4th. As a reminder, students registered for classes last spring for the entire school year and the master schedule of courses was built based on student course requests during registration. Therefore, changes to student classes will not be made between semesters. The only changes being considered are for seniors who could be missing a required course for graduation or if a student is scheduled for an academic course for which they have already received credit. The first day of second semester is Thursday, January 5.
When will we register for classes for the 2023/24 school year?
Course Registration for the 2023/24 school year will take place in January & February. Look for the link to the Registration Hub on the Parkview website beginning on January 17th. The registration hub will contain the timeline and all the information needed for course registration for both students and parents.

Parkview’s Dear Asian Youth Club is hosting a fundraiser to raise money for the Asian American Advocacy Fund, a local nonprofit organization aiming to increase civic engagement in Atlanta’s Asian American/Pacific Islander community.
Available now on Amazon in both eBook and paperback, The Weaver and the Oxherd retells the classic Chinese folktale of two star-crossed lovers. All proceeds from sales of the book will be donated to charity.
The synopsis of the book reads:
Every year, on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, the Heavenly Jade Emperor shifts the stars to allow star-crossed lovers Zhinu and Niulang to reunite. After just a brief embrace, they must return to their opposite sides of the Silver Milky Way River.
Zhinu, the pampered youngest daughter of the all-powerful Jade Emperor, grew up with endless love under her mother's watchful eye. Niulang, the orphaned son of cowherds, grew up on the charity of his community. When they meet one night at a banquet, their strings of fate are forever knotted together.
Set in the deep fantasy world of Ancient Chinese folklore, The Weaver and the Cowherd retells the story of two star-crossed lovers, Niulang the humble oxherd and Zhinu the weaver. The two are destined to forever yearn for each other on opposite sides of the Milky Way. But how did this come to be?
This holiday season, please consider buying a copy or two to support Dear Asian Youth in our mission to increase civic advocacy in Atlanta’s AAPI community!
