Blue Jay Tweets
Fist Bump Friday
If you are available to volunteer, we would definitely appreciate your help! A form was sent home with all BES students on Thursday! Please complete and return the form no later than Thursday morning.
Please Join Us!
BES has entered 3 "trunks" to this event!! We are looking forward to seeing all of our Blue Jays there!
To ensure that we will have enough "treats," we are asking that each student donate at least ONE large bag of candy! However, donating MORE THAN ONE large bag will get you a DRESS DOWN PASS!
Yearbooks are On Sale!!
Students in our Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grades are currently voting on this year's cover design in the Computer Lab. You should have received a blue Flyer that was sent home on Monday October 4th with information on how to purchase the yearbooks. Please visit www.balfour.com to order your yearbook online; or you may order by phone by calling 1-800-balfour (1-800-225-3687.) You may also fill out the bottom portion of the flyer and mail the payment to the Balfour Yearbook company as it was listed on the form. *Please do not send yearbook payments to the school. All purchases must be made through the Balfour Yearbook company.
If you visit our BES website https://www.effinghamschools.com/bles you can find the link for ordering your yearbook in the Upcoming Events section or by scrolling down to the Headlines section and clicking on the one that says "Yearbook Sale".
BES enjoyed Pre-K Week!
Thank you to the various visitors that came to read to our Pre-K students during Pre-K Week!
Masks are no longer mandatory for the BES faculty/staff, but remain highly encouraged amongst the adults entering the building.
Thank YOU: Thank you for continuing to follow the Car Rider procedures in the morning and afternoon! As we continue to work out the minor issues/concerns, the process is getting smoother.
