Join Walk, Watch, Repeat!
Want to do your part to keep Travis safe? Join Walk, Watch, Repeat! This program was started at Ridge Point HS as an effort to get additional adult eyes and ears into the hallways of the school, helping school personnel make their campus a more safe and secure place for student learning. Thanks to the efforts of the founders at RPHS and some amazing Tiger parents, WWR has come to Travis!

This Week in Advisory!
9th grade - The Iceberg
10th grade - Baggage Fees
11th grade - Windshield and Rearview Mirrors
12th grade - 3D Glasses
Our other priority in Advisory this week is our required Digital Citizenship lessons. Each grade level will review FBISD digital citizenship policies as well as a video lesson targeted to specific grade levels dealing with social media usage, screen time, and the importance of a positive digital footprint.
On Friday, Seniors will be introduced to Voter Registration requirements via a video. They will have the opportunity to register to vote the following week.
All students that have not yet completed their Naviance Needs Assessment and Goal will also be completing this task this week in Advisory.
Counseling Department Updates!
Level down forms are now being accepted. Forms are available in the Counseling suite and require teacher and parent signature.
Parent Needs Assessment Survey from THS Counseling Department
Please click the link below to activate our 2019-2020 Counseling Needs Assessment. Based on the results of the survey, our Counseling Department will provide follow up informational sessions throughout the year that will enhance academic, social/emotional and career development for the families of the students we serve. The survey will be active until September 22, 2019. Once closed, the results will be used to determine how our School Counseling program can help support student achievement.
African Student Association Officers show off their College Wear on College Wear Wednesday!
Cheer is selling spirit shirts during lunches! These shirts are $12 - what a deal!!
Even our amazing Staffulty join in the fun on theme days! Coach Kilgore and Coach LaBuhn displayed their school spirit proudly on Nerd Day!
Health classes dove in to Nutrition last week with a Fast Food Nutrition Web Hunt!
English 4 Classes went through Senior Workshop with our College and Career Readiness Advisor, Mrs. Martinez. They are ready to tackle all parts of the College Application Process now!
Senior Class Officers led the Class of 2020 at a Senior Assembly to discuss the senior fundraiser and prom themes. Student voting on prom themes is available in Naviance through Tuesday!
Parent Access to Schoology and Skyward!
Each teacher’s Schoology page will be an excellent resource for you. If you have questions about logging into Schoology, follow this link which gives you job aides and videos to assist with that process.
There are many great features in Skyward that will also keep you up to date with your student's progress in their courses. Click here for more information about how to set up notifications and access other resources through Skyward Family Access. Remember to fully access the Skyward Family Access features, you must have completed your student's information online!
News from PTO!

Attention Class of 2020! Sign up for SENIOR PACKAGE!
Senior package allows you to pay for your senior year all at once ($290) or in installments. The first payment of $65 (minimum) is due on or before Friday (9/13/19). You are welcome to pay online here or students can pay cash to Mrs. Martinez in E138. Online there are 2 option - the TOP option is for everyone's initial payment - either in full or initial payment. If you choose to go on the payment plan, you will then pick the bottom option for the remaining payments (2-6).
The senior package includes:
Prom Ticket with Souvenir (1)
Senior Yearbook (1)
Senior Trip (1) (Fiesta Texas, bus ride, lunch, t-shirt for the trip) Senior Shirt (1)
Approximate Value = $320 Package Deal= $290
The senior package does NOT include graduation items such as cap, gown, graduation announcements, etc.
