The Blackland Praries are a temperate grassland eco-region located in Texas, that runs from the North by the Red River to the South in San Antonio.

Critters you can spot in the prairies:
Peregrine Falcon
Peregrine falcons, can be spotted nesting in the trees, or soaring the sky in search of food.
Monarch Butterfly
This milkweed butterfly, can be spotted in the open meadows of this region.
Coyote
Many coyotes, common in this region, roam in the prairies, and can be seen looking for prey.
