African
African dance originated in the 1500s during The Slave Trade while Africans were being brought to the Caribbean, North and South America. There are many different African dance styles from various ethic groups that were mixed together along with European dances. Because of the importance of dance in the daily life of Africans in their homeland. Many Africans that were enslaved continued to dance as a way to keep their cultural traditions and beliefs connected with their home country. There are no set skills needed to preform these dances beside rhythm and that the body has to be polycentric. Polycentric means that the dancers body is not treated as one single central unit, instead it is divided into several centres. African dance is used to connect with African roots and culture.

Ballet
Ballet originated in the 15th century during the Italian Renaissance. Later, it was developed into a concert form in France and Russia. The world Ballet comes from the French language, and it means "Small type of dance." Ballet was originated by Nobility and Royalty, it was first taught by Catherine de Medici. Ballet dancing requires flexibility body control and lots of training. To be a ballet dancer you must have mental skills like understanding music and also a feel for rhythm. Being able to master ballet takes dedication and hard work. Ballet spread all throughout the world through the years. The special dance instructors or "Ballet Masters" are highly considered to be the finest dance teachers. Ballet has a very demanding technique, you need physical skills, posture,balance,alignment, co-ordination, flexibility and strength. The dances are very cultural and explain everything the people have once been through, when these people dance they are telling a story and expressing feelings within

Flamneco
Flamenco is a form of folk music and dance that originated in 16th century in Andalusia in Spain. Flamenco dance and music drew early influences from Greek and Roman cultures and later from Indian, Moorish and Jewish cultures. Flamenco involves singing dance and the playing of a guitar. It is a powerful art that expresses deep emotions such as pain and sadness. The main purpose of the artist is to connect with the audience and try and too create a bond. Learning the forms of the dance is important and necessary, mastering the dance is difficult, when mastering the dance you have to be able to have the combination of rhythmic complexity , also being able to adjust movements of the hands and body.
