We had a wonderful and busy week with our students!


Next week we hope you will consider joining us for our 5th Grade Band Concert on Tuesday, May 23rd. It's going to be a wonderful show.


If you have an incoming TK student, please consider coming to our TK parent night on Thursday, May 25th from 6:00-7:00pm.

Fifth Grade Band Concert

Please join us on Tuesday, May 23rd at 6:30 pm at HHES for our 5th Grade Band Concert. It's going to be an amazing show!



*Students need to arrive by 6:15pm in their black bottom/yellow band tee uniform and meet in the music room. The concert will be approximately 30 minutes.

Field Day

Field Day will be held on Thursday, June 15th.



4th: 8:10-9:00

2nd: 9:10-10:00

3rd: 10:10-11:00

1st: 11:10-12:00

TK & Kinder: 12:10-1:00

5th: 1:10-2:00


One of the rotations will be a watermelon station. The PWT is looking for watermelon donations. You can begin dropping off donated watermelons on Wednesday, June 14th in the front office at HHES. Thank you so much for considering this!

Incoming TK Parent Night

Do you have a student who will be part of our TK program in the fall? We will have our annual TK parent night on Thursday, May 25th from 6-7pm. Any incoming TK families are invited to attend.

SBA Update!

We just finished our third week of testing and next week we will work with students to complete make-ups. We appreciate all of your help talking to your child about the SBA and having them here during our testing window. Thank you!

Incoming Hi-Cap Parent Night

If you have an incoming hi-cap student for the 2023-2024 school year, please consider joining our Hi-cap Parent Night on Wednesday, May 31st from 4:00-5:00pm.

School Supplies

If you are interested, the PWT has worked with 1st Day School Supplies so that you can order your supplies online and have them delivered to HHES. You must be able to pick them up on back to school night at HHES (8/24, 5-7pm) so that you can deliver them to your child's classroom. This is optional for families, it is not a requirement.


2023-2024 School Supplies

Monthly Safety Drill

We are partnering with Fire District 3 to conduct an on-campus AED Drill so we can learn how to respond to different types of emergencies as a team. Next week, we will be sharing with students about the drill. We will be using a mannequin during the drill and we will be showing students the mannequin letting them know that it will be used during a drill at the end of the week.
