PTO SPRING FUNDRAISER

We are excited to announce that we are "a go" for our spring PTO fundraiser. Formerly known as Fitness for Funds, the newly named Meadowlark Giving Campaign will begin with Kick-Off packets going home with students on Friday, February 19th. All the information that you will need will be in this packet.

As you may be aware, our spring fundraiser typically helps us raise around $30,000 per year and goes directly back into the classrooms for students and for teachers. Covid-19 took away our opportunity to have our fundraiser last spring, so this fundraiser is important to get our funding back on track. Thankfully, due to a commitment to smart spending, our PTO has supported teachers this year with remaining funds from the previous year.

But, we need your help and support......

We would love to provide a t-shirt for each student to wear on the day of our giving event that will be held on Friday, April 30th. If you would like to personally or corporately donate any amount above $100, we will put your name or company's name on the back of the shirt. Please contact me or Gaylene Alderson, Meadowlark Giving Campaign Coordinator, at gnjalderson@hotmail.com.

Thank you!

COUTTS ART MUSEUM SHOW

From February 12 to March 20, 15 students will represent Meadowlark at the Coutts Museum of Art in El Dorado, KS. Every year the museum hosts the Butler County Student Art Exhibit, and it is a great opportunity for local elementary and secondary students to showcase their work. It is quite an honor to have artwork displayed in an actual art museum!

CHECK IN AND OUT PROCEDURES

Checking Students Out

Office staff will conduct all signing in and out of students. Parents may call to check-out students and then the student is sent out to the parent with visual identification. For in-person checking out, once a student is checked out, the parent will go back to their vehicle and the student will be sent out by the office. School Phone Number: 316-218-4630

Checking Students In

Staff members will check students in to create a touchless system. Students need to have temperature checked before proceeding to class if they are arriving for the first time that day.
