Please join us on Thursday, 10/17/19 in the Seminar Room, S-312,
from 3:00-5:00 to read your own poems or poems of others that sustain you. Come, and if you prefer, listen to others. The reading is open to all in the WSU community (students, faculty and staff) and the community at large. Let's celebrate what can be found in poems. One Poem .series is meant to foster a community of writers, readers, and listeners. Please join us.
Alden Excellence in Teaching Award

All students, alumni, and faculty are eligible to nominate a full-time tenured or tenure-track professor for the George I. Alden Excellence in Teaching Award. No self-nominations will be accepted. A committee comprised of students, alumni representatives, and faculty members will review and judge the nominees' materials.
Two faculty members will be honored with this award. Please attach a letter describing the following qualities on the professor: Name of Faculty Nominee: Academic Department:

Math Center Tutoring

Please come to the Math Tutoring Center in Sullivan 140 for help with your math-based courses. The Math Center offers tutoring for all math courses up through Calculus II, as well as tutoring for the Math Placement exam, Psych Stats, EC-202, and CS Discrete. Win prizes! Pet pups! Eat free food! Have fun! Check in at WSU's 3rd annual Fresh Check Day! Wednesday, October 23rd from 10-2 pm in the Student Center, 1st floor!
Fresh Check Day brings together the WSU campus to "check-in" on the mental health and wellness of college students. The first floor of the Student Center will be transformed into a fun expo-like atmosphere with interactive exhibits combined with food, prizes, and giveaways. The booths feature peer-to peer messaging in a positive, community-focused setting. Check out Fresh Check!
