Dr. Lynn Reynolds
Lynn Reynolds began as Director of Library Media Services on November 20, 2017. She has been serving and educating children for 27 years-- doing what she believe God called her to do. She was born, raised, and started her career in Lebanon, Tennessee the place she fondly calls home. She burst quite the comfort bubble when she moved to Kentucky almost 11 years ago; a move that has marked many changes personally and professionally. Born a twin and always feeling a sense of teamwork and direction either by choice or position, she began her life of leadership early. As an educator, she's been a classroom teacher, practicing administrator, and librarian/media specialist. She was awarded the Hilliard Lyons Educator for Excellence in 2016 and participated in Harvard's Graduate School of Education's program on Library Leadership in the Digital Age, March 2017. Lynn received her Bachelor's in Elementary Education at Middle Tennessee State University along with two Masters, one in Administration & Supervision: Principalship and the other in Library Science. She completed her doctorate in Education Leadership at Spalding University June 2015. Her goals for Library Media Services is to LEAD, MENTOR, SERVE, (LMS). Lynn lives in Louisville with her adopted rescue Yorkie, named Weezie whom she declares emphatically rescued her.
"I am excited about this new opportunity. We will chart new waters and change the trajectory of students by providing relevant resources and services to meet the changing times. I am both humbled and honored to serve during this exciting time in education."
