Thank you so much to the amazing parents of Rosewood. We had a lot of very important members of the community visit Rosewood. We had Superintendent Witherspoon, Director Veasy, Director Glover, Chairman Clyburn, Mr. Graham and news crews WACH and WLTX visit. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive. The kids joined me for an introduction to schoolwide expectations assembly for both grades k-2 and 3-5.

Also, thank you to all the parents who reached out with their positive notes to me about their students first day. It really is the reason that we do what we do. Those notes brought a smile to my face.

I'd also like to extend a huge thank you to my teachers who worked tirelessly to prepare and create the warm first day experience for all of the students. The heart of Rosewood shined through.

Thank you to all of the parents that displayed grace and flexibility yesterday during dismissal. I truly appreciate your patience as we ensure that all Rosewood students are returned to you safely. We are still working out the best ways to ensure safety and efficiency. Please note that procedures will always move slowly at the beginning of the year as we get to know our parents, cars, daycare pickup times etc. We are committed to making it the best dismissal possible.

Attendance is crucial in the success of our Eagle learners. If you are absent for illness, please fill out the linked form below in order to code your students' absence "excused". More information will follow about attendance and tardies. We appreciate everything you do to get students to school and on time.

Our annual Boosterthon dates are in the books. This is one of our biggest annual fundraising events for Rosewood. We will be kicking off on September 12 and culminating with our actual run on September 20th. Please be on the lookout for more updates and information about pledging as it is sent out on our social media and SMORE accounts.

Gift cards will be given through Aug. 20 to the first 100 customers each day at 7830 Garners Ferry Road. Gift card amounts are random, but up to $250.00. See below for more details.
