Miss Walker's Weekly Bulletin

Room 301

What is a weekly bulletin?

This weekly bulletin will have everything you need to know for the week. Just refer back to it when needed! I will no longer be updating the class website with this information.

Summer Enrichment Class

I will be teaching a STEAM class this summer. We'll be building roller coasters, a wind-powered maze, and a protective container for an egg drop. Registration info is in! As of Monday, there are just 5 spots left. I am so excited that Reese, Anya, Saylor, Jordan, Matthias, and Sadie have registered!

How do you think this year went? Fill this out!

I like to reflect on the year and make any necessary changes for next year. I appreciate your honest, respectful, and kind feedback.

Week of June 6th

This week, we are finishing up most of our district assessments for comprehension, math, and writing.

We are also finishing our last math unit. Don't forget to log into Ten Marks for reinforcement.

We are finishing our water park design. So far, we've created a slogan, logo, billboard, and a supply budget.

On Friday, we will be collaborating on another STEM Challenge as we engineer and build a roller coaster.

--Looking to help your child this summer get ready for 3rd grade? This book will help your child avoid the "Summer Slide." It includes daily activities for your kiddo that cover math, grammar, writing, science, social studies, and more.-- These books would be great for your other children as well!

PE We have PE on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday this week, please dress appropriately.

Library Books are due by Tuesday. Please don't forget!

Congratulations to Table I for being the table point winners last week. Thanks for showing respect, making good choices, and solving your problems!

Class Party

Our class party is Friday. Don't forget to wear your favorite aloha clothing. Please send in money for the pizza party in an envelope and label it "Party money" and I'll make sure to pass it along to Mrs. Weeber. Want to help out with our games, lei making, and food? Sign up here!
Get ready for 3rd grade!

Get this book! Give your soon-to-be third grader a head start on their upcoming school year with daily, 15-minute exercises kids can review skip-counting and using adjectives and learn new skills like rounding numbers and writing compound sentences.
