Reading & Writing Lesson Plans Expectations
When submitting lesson plans, please be sure to include the following:
1. Flex Friday Plans. We have to have a plan in the event that all goes well for the week. Discuss as a grade level which session should be repeated in case all goes well with teacher attendance, session difficulty, etc.
2. Teach and Active Engagement. Be sure to state the specific strategy demonstrated/ modeled and how students will practice on the carpet.
3. Differentiation for Reading (3rd-5th) and Writing (K-5). As a grade level, list out the group of students you plan to address (DNM, Approaching, Meets) and the TP (use the progressions) that speaks to the strategy provided.
