Make up work due Wednesday.
Production Technology
Prod Tech students are finishing up their work with coding and will share their games with classmates next week. Next up is videography with WeVideo. I can't wait to see what they will create next!!
Voice
Sixth grade students did a great job on their field trip! I was so proud, and we had positive feedback on our performance. Thanks for sharing your children with me! Our next test is Thursday, March 14.
Science
The students will be start working on analyzing and interpreting data related to the diversity of animals to support claims that all animals share common characteristics. The Plant 3 Test was moved to Thursday of this upcoming week. There will also be graded assignments on Study Island, USA Test Prep and other daily grades.
Dance
6th dance focus: A biography poster assignment was due March 8th.
Make up is required for dress rehearsal. We will apply it in class on Wednesday. Dress rehearsal for the performance is March 13th from 3-5PM. Bring a snack. The night of the performance the students will arrive at school wearing their That's My Jam! tshirt and dance pants. Performance is March 14th at 6 PM. Call time for students is 5:30PM.
Math
6th grade math students are studying ideas in area and perimeter (chapter 13). These ideas are not new as we have been incorporating these ideas throughout the year. We will have a quiz on Monday and our chapter 13 test later next week. REMINDER: ALL MISSING STUDENT WORK IS DUE NO LATER THAN WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13th.
Social Studies
Students will continue their study of the Renaissance era, 1350-1650.
ELA
The students will be writing an essay on the rhetorical devices that Martin Luther King Jr. used in his speech, "I Have a Dream".
Stems quiz Thursday.
Article due Friday, quiz and essay.
