The Marie Murphy Update
26 February 2021 Edition
Adjusted Schedule Next Week!
With so much communication coming from the school lately, we wanted to make sure that parents were aware of the schedule change for next week (March 1-March 5)! This is not a permanent change; just changes for next week.
30 staff members are receiving their second Covid vaccination on Wednesday, March 3, so the district will not have school next Thursday, March 4 with the possibility of numerous teachers being out ill. In order to maximize our learning on the days we are in session, the schedule has been adjusted for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. You can see your specific grade-level schedule below.

Spring Break Travel Guidance & Covid Testing
Please click here to see Dr. Osburn's memo outlining the Cook County Health Department's updated Travel Guidance, which now follows the City of Chicago guidance.
This is important information, especially as spring break travel plans are being finalized for many MM families.
In order to support those returning from Spring Break and wanting to not miss any onsite learning starting April 7, the New Trier Township schools are working together to offer free COVID testing for all staff, students, and family members of both - on April 2, 3 and 4. Testing is shown to provide an additional layer of mitigation AND this provides an additional level of security for those returning from Spring Break travel.
Details about the location, times, and registration links will be shared in the weeks prior to the testing dates.
