Friday The 13th
Friday the 13th is one of the largest superstitions in the world and nobody is really sure why. People believe it is because Friday is considered a bad day and 13th is suppose to be an unlucky number, so scientists and historians believe people are putting the two together and assuming it is bad luck. Friday has been a bad day dating back to Ancient Rome and from the Christian Bible many events occurred causing people to believe in Friday being bad luck. Some of these events being, when Eve gave Adam the apple, when Adam and Eve were expelled from the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve died, the Temple of Solomon was destroyed, and Christ was crucified on a Friday as well. The 13th has always been an unlucky number. The number 13 is associated with witches and dates back to the Turks who disliked the number and eventually dismissed it from their vocabulary.
