Words Of Advice

  1. To communicate to someone with hearing loss speak clearly, slowly, and in normal tone of voice, don't yell or use a loud voice tone
  2. Don't leave someone with hearing loss out of conversation, say their name, tell them if the conversation has shifted, it can make them feel left out if you don't
  3. Light up the area, and stand a few feet away from the person, this can help the person understand what you are saying even better, because they can see your facial expressions
