Words Of Advice
- To communicate to someone with hearing loss speak clearly, slowly, and in normal tone of voice, don't yell or use a loud voice tone
- Don't leave someone with hearing loss out of conversation, say their name, tell them if the conversation has shifted, it can make them feel left out if you don't
- Light up the area, and stand a few feet away from the person, this can help the person understand what you are saying even better, because they can see your facial expressions
