Reeceville Scientists Recognized at the County Science Fair
Reeceville Elementary School is proud to recognize and congratulate two of our own who earned awards for their outstanding projects at the Chester County Science Research Competition. These students now rank as top fourth grade scientists in all of Chester County, and we couldn't be more proud!
Carrigain Eschborn was one of only three students to earn Honors in Physics for her project, "The Best Insulators for Beverages."
Colby Palomeque-Marica was the only student to earn Distinguished Honors in Biochemistry for his project, "Bubble Gum." Colby was also recognized with a special award called, "Persistence in Science."
Colby and Carrigain, your outstanding achievements not only make you shine brightly, but also illuminate our school and the entire Coatesville Area School District. Thank you for representing us and congratulations again! We all celebrate with you!!

Coatesville Area School District Summer Programs
Attention, Parents! We are in the process of preparing for summer academic programing for students in grades K - 12. CASD is also working with community partners like the YMCA, Young Men and Women In Charge , Coatesville Youth Initiative, and 21st Century Community Learning Centers to support activities for students in grades K-8 this summer. Students in grades 9-12 will also have the opportunity to make up credits they did not accumulate this year. Summer programs will run Monday through Thursday from the week of June 28th to the week of August 2nd. Please stay tuned for more information and invitations to our summer programs.
Young Men and Women in Charge (YMWIC)
Young Men and Women In Charge has been supporting Coatesville Area School District high school students for many years. YMWIC has provided CASD students with mentoring and career path options for post high school.
YMWIC has recognized the need to reach even younger students to help overcome the academic deficits that students have when they enter and proceed through school. These questions are intended to help us create a program that would meet the needs of families in the CASD community who have children in the Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 2 years. We greatly appreciate your assistance in helping us design a program that will bring even more educational opportunities for our youth.
