9:00am-10:30am: Let's Take A Road Trip! Future Ready...A Library Journey keynote, conversation and an awesome Future Ready Librarian Sketchnote activity!
10:30-10:45am Break
10:45am: You will take a look at yourself as a Future Ready Librarian through a discussion and goal setting activity.

12:30-1:30pm LUNCH
1:30pm-4:00pm: Now, we will share and demonstrate several digital tools, apps and resources that can be used as keys for each of the Future Ready Librarian gears.
You will have time to explore, create, collaborate and share as you develop your very own Future Ready Librarian Tool Box to take back and put digital leadership into practice within your library and school community this year.
4:00-4:30pm...Questions and wrap up from our day together.

Shannon McClintock Miller
Shannon currently serves as the K-12 Teacher Librarian at Van Meter Community School in Iowa and as the Future Ready Librarians Spokesperson working with students, librarians, educators and others around the world every day. She is Buncee’s Librarian Advisor, Cantata Learning’s Teacher Librarian Advocate and Author, a Participate Author and Skype Educator. Shannon is the author of the award winning The Library Voice blog and enjoys writing for various blogs, journals and other forums including ISTE, School Library Journal and Publishers Weekly. She recently published her first 4 children’s books about library skills with Capstone and is working on the next series which is due out in the fall of 2018. Shannon and Bill Bass are also writing a library leadership book with ISTE.
In 2011, Shannon was awarded the Connecting People Shorty Award and was chosen to be part of the SLJ New Leaders Program in 2012. In 2013, she was named one of the Faces of Innovation from Broadband for America; one of 50 featured in the 2013 Center for Digital Education Yearbook; and one of the featured Connected Educators with the Connected Educators projects partnered with the US Department of Education. In 2014, Shannon was named a Library Journal Mover and Shaker. In 2016, she was awarded the Making it Happen Award by ISTE. In 2018, she was named the AASL Social Media Superstar Leadership Luminary.
And her most favorite roles of all….She is mom to amazing children and lucky wife of Eric’s.
