Generation On Service Learning Projects

Students will present their Generation On Service Proposal at an Expo this Friday during Core+. The two winning presentations will receive a grant for their projects:) Students should dress in business casual clothes on Friday.

Geometry

Geometry students will celebrate a delayed “Pi Day” on Thursday/Friday, March 17th/18th. Students can bring circular snacks or pies to enjoy during class time. We are finishing up Unit 11, Similarity, with a test on Monday, March 21st/Tuesday, March 22nd. We will continue to review algebra topics and begin Unit 12 before Spring Break. Students are encouraged to seek additional support during CORE+ and should check all practice assignments with the documents on Edmodo before coming to class each day.

Pre-Algebra

Pre-Algebra students will celebrate a delayed “Pi Day” on Monday, March 21st. Students can bring circular snacks or pies to enjoy during class time. We will continue to work on problem solving with past learned concepts before Spring Break. We will also study exponent rules, scientific notation, and data displays. Students are encouraged to seek additional support during CORE+. Please continue to encourage your child to embrace the productive struggle needed to develop problem solving skills and to persevere through the process.
