My Teacher Rocks: Teacher of the Month - Mrs. Lind
Tammie Lind, Windsor Middle School ($100 gift certificate sponsored by Wing Shack, Windsor)
"Mrs. Lind has been very impactful in my learning. She has taught me Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II. Over the last three years, there has not been a single bad day in her class. She has always been there for me, and helps me when I fall behind or get confused in her classroom. She cares for all of her students and will go out of her way to help anyone. She makes every lesson that she teaches extremely fun and entertaining. Her teaching will help me in my future life. I wish the best for her, and I know all of her students do."
SRO Student of the Week: Michaela
Michaela found a wallet in the 6th-grade hallway at the end of the day. She brought it to a group of teachers to help ensure its safe return to its owner. Thank you Michaela, for doing the right thing! Keep up the good work.

A Note From the Wood Shop
If you receive new tools for the holidays, that's fantastic! Hurray for DIY! Now you're wondering what to do with your old tools? Gift them to the Shop! The WMS Industrial Arts shop is always looking for hand tools and power tools to give our students the widest range and breadth of experience possible. Even with the best of care, being used by hundreds of students a year can wear down a hammer! If you find yourself with hand tools or power tools you no longer need, the WMS Shop will be happy to keep them working.
Please leave tool donations with the WMS front office, Attention: Mr. James Weiner. Any questions or concerns can be emailed to our Industrial Arts teacher at James.Weiner@weldre4.org

Chromebook Announcement
Parents,
We need your help. We have seen an increase in broken screens lately. Most are due to damage while in backpacks, or tripping over charging cords in the classroom. Please help us by
1. reminding your child to charge their chromebook every night
2. making sure they have a safe, clean space in their backpacks to carry their devices. We strongly recommend a separate protective sleeve or case in addition to any padded backpack pockets.
Ultimately, families will be financially responsible for repair or replacement costs if devices are damaged.
