We Live the Word!
Friday, September 21, 2018
Dear Students, Families, & Friends,
Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy our Annual Car Show last weekend! We are happy to announce that what began 4 years ago as a fun social event has now grown into a successful fundraiser as well! Our volunteers have been working hard to create a day with something for everyone and we are so very grateful for their efforts! The event which was held on September 15 raised over $2100 - three times more than past years! Many thanks to our chairperson, Mrs. Debbie Moone, and her creative, hard-working team!
The Father John V. Doyle school family would like to thank Karen Veltri, a parishioner of Saints John & Paul Church, for her successful efforts in making our gardens beautiful once again! She has worked tirelessly on weekends, holidays, and at other times to plant, weed, water, and more! In addition, she has been tending to our teak benches at the main entrance of the school. Thanks to her care, these benches not only look brighter and more inviting, they now have a protective coating against the weather!
We hope you will take a few minutes to check out and enjoy our gardens!
Installation Mass for Father Woolley!
All students who attend this special Mass in full school uniform will receive a no-uniform day!
Singing Saints at Providence Bruins, Saturday, October 6
Basketball Registration Open!
We currently do not have a coach for a Girls Junior team which would consist mainly of 4th grade students but could include 3rd grade. If you would like to coach this team, please contact Mrs. Smith! Thank you!
NEW! PTO Facebook group!
The PTO would like to invite parents, teachers, and families at Father John V. Doyle School to join the PTO Facebook group! Our PTO team will maintain the group to provide an online community where families can get information about events, share volunteer opportunities, be able to ask questions, and have a chance to give your opinion through surveys and open discussions.
