Energy Source Meeting .......... Sunday, March 8th, 2015
Today, the Science-town Energy Council(STEC) is holding a meeting to decide which energy source will be used for the town. Most STEC members I interviewed thought it would be a tough descision and that they should just keep our coal burning energy. But someone says otherwise. Miss Ava Taylor has a strong feeling for solar energy. "Solar energy would be perfect for our town!" Taylor says. "We have plenty of open fields and if we tear down those stupid air-polluting coal burning plants then we will have even more space for the solar panels!" Well there you have it folks! I'll (hopeully) report the out come Wednesday!
New Energy Source .......... Wednesday, March 11th, 2015
The Science-town Energy Council(STEC) finally decided on a new energy source for the town. And the outcome, solar! I guess Ava Taylor really stood up for her beliefs! Anyways, I spoke to the non-STEC member Kelli Sanders who seems to have a debate on what the STEC Members chose. "I don't really like the idea of solar powered items in our town. First off, we don't have many really sunny places because we have so many trees." Sanders says. "And we are such a small town, there might not be enough space for the big solar farms!" Although Kelli Sanders doesn't like the idea, most other Science-townsmen do.
