FEINSTEIN JUNIOR SCHOLARS 22-23
- Random drawings will be held every Monday with 5 new Golden Ticket winning numbers announced on WPRI Channel 12 during their primetime Monday 4:30 p.m. news programming — commencing October 3rd.
- Winning numbers will also be posted the following day, Tuesdays, on our Virtual Journal and Facebook pages. If your school has a Facebook page, please be sure to follow our page to keep up with all we have going on and encourage your parents/guardians to do likewise!
- Jr. Scholars must have their winning ticket in order to claim their prizes. Please instruct them to take care of their ticket!
- Winning numbers are valid for one week — after one week, they're gone!
- Students with a winning ticket number should inform their teacher/school immediately.
- Winning schools should contact the Feinstein Foundation as soon as possible with their winning ticket claim! (Winning tickets must be claimed within 7 days of their posting.)
The winning school receives a $5,000 grant. The winning student receives a $500 grant, which they can give to either their school or a non-profit of their choice. The winning student also receives surprise gifts from the Feinstein Foundation!
OCTOBER LUNCH MENU
Please remind your children that BREAKFAST is FREE!
They can grab a breakfast on their way to homeroom!
MYSCHOOLBUCKS INFORMATION
Account payments can be made through MySchoolBucks.com using a debit/credit card or checks at all cafeteria registers. Please make checks payable to “Dighton Rehoboth Regional School District” and include your student’s full name in the memo line.
School meals, both breakfast and lunch, are once again free (see below); however, all students must use the point of sale system to obtain a free lunch. Please encourage your child to remember their lunch pin number because it helps to move along the lunch lines. If a student forgets their pin, then the cafeteria workers need to look it up and this stalls the lunch line.
Students will need to pay for snacks not included with the free meal and this is the reason why a parent would want to put money on their child's account.

CHROMEBOOK INSURANCE
Accidents happen, that’s why we’ve chosen School Device Coverage to offer an optional device insurance program for our district parents. Here are some benefits to device insurance:
- Coverage for accidental damage, loss, and theft
- No hidden fees, a one-time payment covers the device until the end of the school year
- There are no claims limits, so if your child experiences more than one accidental damage, loss, or theft event, the device is still insured
- If your child’s device needs repair or replacement, the insurance coverage will follow to any loaner device given automatically and at no extra charge
To enroll your device(s), please visit https://schooldevicecoverage.com/signup. Fill out the form on that page, and then click Next to complete your registration.
It takes just a few minutes to purchase insurance coverage.
Please note that insurance purchased last year was for that year only and expired at the end of the year.
The window to acquire device insurance will be open until the end of October.
Thank You!
